You would certainly have a difficult task finding someone who doesn’t like pizza. After all, it’s one of the most popular food items in the United States, with each region preparing it in its own special way. And like many other plentiful and fulfilling meals, you occasionally have leftovers. And while some are huge fans of having cold pizza first thing in the morning, others are much happier reheating them to replicate the pizzeria experience. But which way works best? We hope to answer this question today.
Air frying has become quite popular in recent years as it cooks food by circulating hot air and is a wonderful way to save time. Placing the pizza in an air fryer for three to five minutes at 350 degrees is a quick way to accomplish the task at hand.
Many pizzeria aficionados attest to this being the best method for reheating pizza. Similar to the air fryer, it’s recommended that you cook the pizza at a temperature of 350 degrees. Times vary, but your pizza should be good and ready in approximately ten minutes on average. And, if you’re looking to make that crust a little more crispy, olive oil is a good thing to add before placing it in the oven to cook.
While not as common as some of the other methods on our list, some have taken to reheating their pizza on the stovetop. It allows more control over how much the pizza is cooked and will allow you to avoid the mistake of overheating it. If you want to moisturize your reheated leftovers, add a few drops of water to the skillet or frying pan beforehand.
While this method might be the most commonly known, it’s also the ideal quick fix if you don't have time to wait. The trick to reheating pizza in the microwave is understanding how powerful your microwave is. Cooking times vary, but on average, a slice of pizza can be hot and ready for consumption within the span of one minute.
