Shift Leader

Lead the floor. Set the pace. Own the shift.

As a Shift Leader at Russo's, you're the leader on duty and the go-to decision maker during your shift. Your role is to ensure every guest has a great experience, every order meets Russo's standards, and the restaurant runs smoothly from open to close.

You'll work across the restaurant–front counter, dining room, and kitchen–leading by example, supporting the team, and stepping in wherever needed. From customer service and team leadership to problem-solving in real time, you keep the operation moving and adapt as situations arise.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading and managing the shift as Manager on Duty (MOD)
• Delivering a positive guest experience and resolving issues as they arise
• Ensuring food quality, accuracy, and adherence to Russo's standards
• Supporting scheduling, organization, ordering, and team coordination
• Coaching team members and maintaining a high sense of urgency
• Keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and running efficiency
• Jumping on across all roles when needed

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Basic math skills, including counting back change
• Comfortable speaking, reading, and writing basic English
• Outgoing, positive, and confident personality
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt quickly
• Team-first mindset with a strong sense of urgency
• Willingness to cross-train in all areas of the restaurant
• Professional appearance in line with uniform standards
• Reliable transportation
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to stand or walk for 6–8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
